Pink Does Not = Feminine

I love this ad! Why don't "they" make ads like this anymore? Remember in the 1980's - the Kid Sister Doll (shout outz to my bro who bought me one for Christmas when I was 4!) in her overalls? Nowadays, all I see is female dolls in pink dresses with frills and bows... and even worse.. the Bratz Dolls with their itsy bitsy flares and their teeny weeny t's. They make me want to puke every time I see them... I would never buy my kid a Bratz doll... just sayin'.

  1. I absolutely agree with this. When our daughter was first born, I refused from allowing anyone buying her princess themed clothes. I'm sure she'll get into that stuff on her own, but I've never been a huge fan of the phrase "Daddy's little princess" for some reason. I just want her to know that she can be an independent, strong girl (and woman).
