When I am not on Facebook..

... I am going to 7-Star Hotels! This place (The Burj al Arab) was BEAUTIFUL despite the fact that it goes against 95 percent of what I stand for... still... it was a definite "Dubai" experience and the best part? I didn't have to pay for it! Thanks Dad! ps: blogger is crap when it comes to uploading pics efficiently so look for the full account on facebook next week!

When I am not on Facebook...

...I am working! My job is really fun for the most part. Sometimes I want to kill my clients and then myself but we usually make it through without any casualties! Here are some of my staff members!

Barney is fun to work with but Dora... so demanding!!

My assistant manager and our receptionist!

When I am not on Facebook...

... I am on twitter. It's the only place where I can express my cynical and self-amusing thoughts!

Ch-ch-check me out.

When I am not on Facebook, I am...

... putting up curtains in my room! And that is no easy feat considering that every single wall in the Middle East is made of concrete! Yes, I know how to operate a drill and do minor handy stuff... I actually enjoy it... it gives me hope that I could one day, fulfill my dream of being a house flipper... except I think with the market being crap, that dream is sailing further and further out of reach. Well, the market and the fact that these curtains ended up slightly crooked. Oops!

When I am not on Facebook, I am...

... doing a photoshoot of this little cupcake cheeked boy! This is Yaseen, an old friend's brand new baby boy! Isn't he adorable??? mashallah! PS: For those of you who have no idea what "mashallah" means, it means "As God has willed" in Arabic. This phrase is used when admiring or praising something or someone, in recognition that all good things come from God and are blessings from Him. No, I have no converted to Islam but I get cussed out by my friends every time I compliment their kids and don't follow it up with "Mashaallah!" It's also kind of their way of warding off "the evil eye"... look it up. I don't have time to explain! I've got a life now that I'm not a Facebook Junkie....
